Flood Advisory issued June 3 at 8:16PM CDT until June 3 at 10:15PM CDT by NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan WI* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of southeast Wisconsin, including the followingcounties, Milwaukee and Waukesha.* WHEN...Until 1015 PM CDT.* IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.River or stream flows are elevated.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 816 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gaugesindicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will causeurban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches ofrain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expectedover the area. This additional rain will result in minorflooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Milwaukee, Waukesha, West Allis, Wauwatosa, New Berlin,Brookfield, Greenfield, Menomonee Falls, Oak Creek, Muskego,South Milwaukee, Cudahy, Whitefish Bay, Greendale, BrownDeer, St. Francis, Hales Corners, Fox Point, Elm Grove andBayside.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
