Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 30 at 2:07PM EDT until October 2 at 6:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to two and a half feet of inundation above groundlevel in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in Charles and King George Counties.* WHEN...Until 6 AM EDT Wednesday, especially around the time ofhigh tide.* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water reaches yards near Cobb Islandand docks near Dahlgren.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two and a half to three feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Indian Head is at 7:29 PM and 7:45AM. The next high tide at Goose Bay is at 3:35 PM and 3:51 AM.The next high tide at Dahlgren is at 2:24 PM and 2:43 AM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
