Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 23 at 10:01PM EDT until September 25 at 4:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in lowlying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in Charles and King George Counties.* WHEN...Until 4 AM EDT Wednesday, especially around the time ofhigh tide.* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water reaches yards near Cobb Islandand docks near Dahlgren.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Indian Head is at 1:01 AM and 1:46PM. The next high tide at Goose Bay is at 9:52 AM and 10:08 PM.The next high tide at Dahlgren is at 8:36 AM and 9:13 PM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
