Flood Watch issued May 12 at 10:36AM CDT until May 13 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Houston/Galveston TX* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the followingareas, Brazos, Grimes, Houston, Madison, Montgomery, NorthernLiberty, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity and Walker.* WHEN...Through Monday morning.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeksand streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Scattered showers and thunderstorms has developed across theWatch area and will continue into Monday morning. Rainfallamounts of 2 to 4 inches with isolated higher amounts of 6inches or more will be possible.
