Between 1and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is likely ongoingor expected to begin shortly. Rain rates have come down butadditional rainfall of up to 1 inch is possible. Due to verysaturated soils, it will not take much rain to cause flash flooding.HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other poordrainage and low lying areas.Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...Waco, Robinson, Bellmead, Mexia, Lacy-Lakeview, Groesbeck, Teague,Fairfield, West, Mart, Beverly Hills, Wortham, Riesel, Coolidge,Hallsburg, Fort Parker State Park, Lake Mexia, Lake Limestone,Richland-Chambers Reservoir and Tradinghouse Creek Reservoir.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
