Movement was east at 30mph.HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph, half inch hail, and rainfall upto 1.5 inches.SOURCE...Radar indicated.IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow aroundunsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects ispossible.Locations impacted include...San Antonio, Austin, Round Rock, New Braunfels, Cedar Park,Georgetown, San Marcos, Pflugerville, Schertz, Kyle, Seguin, Cibolo,Universal City, Taylor, Live Oak, Buda, Lockhart, Pleasanton, Selma,and Pearsall.If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may leadto localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through floodedroadways.Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Flood Advisory issued April 28 at 7:13AM CDT until April 28 at 10:15AM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the followingcounties, Bexar, Comal, Hays, Travis and Williamson.* WHEN...Until 1015 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 713 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain hasfallen.- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected overthe area.
