Flood Warning issued June 21 at 11:02PM CDT until June 22 at 9:45AM CDT by NWS Sioux Falls SD* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.* WHERE...Portions of northwest Iowa, including the followingcounties, Clay, Dickinson, Lyon, O'Brien, Osceola and Sioux,southwest Minnesota, including the following county, Nobles, andsoutheast South Dakota, including the following counties, Lincoln,Turner and Union.* WHEN...Until 945 AM CDT Saturday.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Severalstructures are flooded and some sand bagging operations arecontinuing. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1102 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain inthe warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is alreadyoccurring. Between 8 and 16 inches of rain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 4 inches are possible inthe warned area.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Sioux Falls, Sioux Center, Sheldon, Canton, Sibley, RockRapids, Beresford, Parker, Harrisburg, Tea, Rock Valley,Hull, Lennox, Sanborn, George, Centerville, Worthing,Larchwood, Inwood and Viborg.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
