Flood Warning issued June 21 at 7:42AM CDT until June 21 at 7:30PM CDT by NWS Sioux Falls SD* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is ongoing.* WHERE...A portion of south central South Dakota, including thefollowing counties, Aurora and Brule.* WHEN...Until 730 PM CDT Friday.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 741 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gaugesindicated heavy rain had occurred. Flooding is alreadyoccurring in the warned area. Between 2 and 6 inches of rainhad fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are possiblein the warned area over the next 24 hours.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Chamberlain, Plankinton, Kimball, White Lake, Stickney,Storla, Grass Ranch Colony and Pukwana.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
