Air Quality Alert issued June 4 at 10:34AM EDT by NWS State College PAThe Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has issueda Code ORANGE Air Quality Alert for Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster,Lebanon, and York Counties in the Susquehanna Valley, through thisevening.A Code ORANGE Air Quality Alert means that air pollutionconcentrations within the region may become unhealthy for sensitivegroups. Sensitive groups include children, people suffering fromasthma, heart disease or other lung diseases, and the elderly.
