Excessive Heat Warning issued June 29 at 7:16PM CDT until June 29 at 9:00PM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 110.* WHERE...In Arkansas, Crawford, Franklin, and Sebastian Counties.In Oklahoma, Cherokee, Muskogee, Okfuskee, Sequoyah, Creek, Mayes,Okmulgee, Osage, Pawnee, Rogers, Tulsa, Wagoner, Washington OK,Choctaw, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, McIntosh, Pittsburg, andPushmataha Counties.* WHEN...Until 9 PM CDT this evening.* IMPACTS...The combination of hot temperatures and high humiditywill create a dangerous situation in which heat related illnessesare more likely.Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loosefitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morningor evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion andheat stroke.Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles.
