Flood Advisory issued September 22 at 6:41PM CDT until September 22 at 10:45PM CDT by NWS Norman OK* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of southwest Oklahoma, including the followingcounties, Comanche, Cotton and Tillman.* WHEN...Until 1045 PM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 641 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain hasfallen.- Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected overthe area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Lawton, Geronimo, Grandfield, Sterling, Chattanooga, Faxon,Loveland, southeastern Fort Sill and Hulen.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
