Heat Advisory issued June 19 at 3:37AM EDT until June 21 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH* WHAT...A prolonged period of dangerously hot conditions with heatindex values near 100 degrees.* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeastand northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, andwest central Ohio.* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Friday.* IMPACTS...The combination of excessive heat due to temperatures inthe 90s and high humidity will increase the threat of heatillnesses.Drink plenty of fluids, make use of air-conditioning, stay out ofthe sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors, especially thosethat may have underlying health conditions.Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loosefitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morningor evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion andheat stroke.
