Flood Advisory issued June 4 at 8:30PM EDT until June 4 at 10:15PM EDT by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.* WHERE...Portions of piedmont North Carolina, including thefollowing counties, Mecklenburg and Union NC and upstate SouthCarolina, including the following county, York.* WHEN...Until 1015 PM EDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.River or stream flows are elevated.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 824 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain has fallendue to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expectedto begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inchesof rain have fallen.- Stream gauges along Little Sugar Creek and Irwin Creek areabove action stage and still rising. Freedom Park walkwaysmay be flooded and the East Boulevard parking lot may beginto flood.
