Flood Warning issued September 27 at 7:32PM EDT until September 27 at 9:45PM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC* WHAT...Flooding caused by runoff from earlier rainfall continues.* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including thefollowing county, Wilson.* WHEN...Until 945 PM EDT.* IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff fromearlier rainfall.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 731 PM EDT, heavy rain from earlier thunderstorms hascaused many creeks and streams to rise out of their banks.While the threat of flash flooding has lessened, flooding oflow-lying areas and roadways will continue this evening.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Wilson, Elm City, Sharpsburg, Lucama, Stantonsburg, BlackCreek, Saratoga, Sims, New Hope, Willbanks and BuckhornReservoir.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.
