In New York, Richmond (Staten Island), Kings(Brooklyn), Southern Queens and Southern Nassau Counties.* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Friday.* IMPACTS...Minor to locally moderate flooding in the morevulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Someroads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks,lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near thewaterfront will experience minor flooding.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Localized moderate flooding for SouthernNassau and Southern Queens during the morning high tidecycle on Friday. Elsewhere, for tonight's high tidecycle only, minor flooding may be only localized. Minorcoastal flooding is also likely with the morning high tidecycle on Saturday and may also be possible on Sunday.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
