Fire Weather Watch issued June 11 at 12:34PM MDT until June 14 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa NM...CRITICAL FIRE DANGER EXPECTED FRIDAY....Wind speeds are expected to increase across western areas of NewMexico Friday as a weather system approaches from the west.Southwesterly winds of 25 to 30 mph will be common during theafternoon and evening hours. These winds will combine with veryhot and dry conditions resulting in an increase in fire dangeracross western fire zones including the Gila region along withsouthwest New Mexico.The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa hasissued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from Fridaymorning through Friday evening.* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zone 110.
