Red Flag Warning issued June 17 at 2:52PM MDT until June 17 at 8:00PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING FOR MUCH OFWESTERN AND PORTIONS OF NORTHERN NEW MEXICO DUE TO VERY LOWHUMIDITY, GUSTY WINDS AND AN UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE....Stronger west to southwest winds will develop this afternoonwith deep atmospheric mixing and an extremely dry airmass inplace. The main threat areas for the spread of fire will be westof the Continental Divide, the Upper Rio Grande Valley and theNortheast Highlands where winds will be strongest.* AREA AND TIMING...Northwest Plateau (Zone 101), West CentralMountains (Zone 105), West Central Basin and Range (Zone 109),Upper Rio Grande Valley and Lower Chama River Valley (Zone121), and the Northeast Highlands (Zone 123).* 20 FOOT WINDS...West to southwest at 20 to 25 mph withoccasional gusts up to 35 mph.* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...5 to 12 percent.* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.Outdoor burning is not recommended.Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in thefield of this Red Flag Warning.
