For the Coastal Flood Watch,one to two feet of inundation above ground level possible inlow-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.* WHERE...Middlesex County and Western Monmouth County.* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 6 AM EDTSaturday. For the Coastal Flood Watch, from Saturday morningthrough Sunday afternoon.* IMPACTS...At moderate flood levels, widespread roadway floodingoccurs in coastal and bayside communities and along inlandtidal waterways. Many roads become impassable. Some damage tovulnerable structures may begin to occur.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Some guidance continues to indicatemoderate coastal flooding may occur during the Friday morninghigh tide cycle. While confidence in this remains low, a short-fused warning may be issued during the next update to coverthis high tide cycle.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
