For the second Coastal FloodAdvisory, up to one foot of inundation above ground levelexpected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline.* WHERE...In New Jersey, Hudson, Eastern Essex and Eastern UnionCounties. In New York, New York (Manhattan) County.* WHEN...For the first Coastal Flood Advisory, from 9 AM thismorning to 1 PM EDT this afternoon. For the second Coastal FloodAdvisory, from 8 PM this evening to 2 AM EDT Saturday.* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Minor flooding in the more vulnerablelocations near the waterfront and shoreline. Some roads andlow lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, andhomes and businesses with basements near the waterfront willexperience minor flooding.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional rounds of coastal floodingaround the times high tide can be expected through at least theweekend.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
