Flood Advisory issued June 15 at 2:20AM PDT by NWS Elko NV...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in Nevada...Humboldt River At Comus affecting Humboldt County..The Humboldt River at Comus is expected to slowly rise through theweekend.For the Lower Humboldt...including Battle Mountain, Comus...elevatedriver levels are forecast.* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt is possible.* WHERE...Humboldt River at Comus.* WHEN...Until further notice.* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Minor to moderate lowland floodingthroughout the reach. Some rural roads near the river begin toflood. Very minor flooding begins in Winnemucca with storm drainbackups, and the lowest parts of town begin to flood.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1:15 AM PDT Saturday the stage was 8.5 feet.- Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stageearly Monday morning and continue rising to 9.8 feet Tuesdayevening.
