Wear lightweight and loosefitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to earlymorning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heatexhaustion and heat stroke.To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety andHealth Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaksin shaded or air conditioned environments. Flood Warning issued June 24 at 1:13PM CDT until June 25 at 10:00AM CDT by NWS North Platte NE* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.* WHERE...A portion of north central Nebraska, including thefollowing county, Holt.* WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT Tuesday.* IMPACTS...Flooding of the Elkhorn River, and other low-lying andflood-prone locations is occurring.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 107 PM CDT, Flooding from heavy rainfall last weekcontinues to affect the area, though water levels arefalling.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...O'Neill, Atkinson and Emmet.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
