Flood Warning issued June 22 at 2:36PM CDT until June 23 at 9:30AM CDT by NWS Hastings NE* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.* WHERE...A portion of central Nebraska, including the followingcounties, Howard, Merrick, Nance and Sherman.* WHEN...Until 930 AM CDT Sunday.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect manyareas of slow moving or standing water. It will take several hoursfor all the water from these storms to work through local drainagesystems.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 234 PM CDT, emergency management reported continuedflooding in the warned area due to heavy rain andthunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring. Between 3 and 6inches of rain fell Friday night.- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall isexpected.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...St. Paul, Palmer, Dannebrog, Elba, Ashton, Farwell, Rockvilleand Cushing.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
