Wear lightweight and loosefitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morningor evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion andheat stroke.

Innortheast Nebraska, Platte.* WHEN...Until 1245 PM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.Some low-water crossings may become impassable.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 913 AM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain inthe advisory area due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poordrainage areas have already caused minor flooding in theadvisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall isexpected.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Columbus, Duncan, Monroe, Lake Oconee and Camp Pawnee.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.
