Wear lightweight and loosefitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morningor evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion andheat stroke.

Flood Advisory issued June 23 at 9:14AM CDT until June 23 at 12:45PM CDT by NWS Omaha/Valley NE* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall Friday night.* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Nebraska, includingthe following counties, in east central Nebraska, Butler. Innortheast Nebraska, Platte.* WHEN...Until 1245 PM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.Some low-water crossings may become impassable.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 913 AM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain inthe advisory area due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poordrainage areas have already caused minor flooding in theadvisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall isexpected.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Columbus, Duncan, Monroe, Lake Oconee and Camp Pawnee.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.
