Flood Watch issued June 16 at 9:12PM CDT until June 17 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Omaha/Valley NE* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.* WHERE...A portion of northeast Nebraska, including the followingcounties, Cuming, Madison, Pierce, Stanton, Thurston and Wayne.* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Monday.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occurin poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams arerunning high and could flood with more heavy rain.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Recent heavy rainfall has led to saturated soils across thewatch area. Additional rainfall this evening and overnight,due to slow moving storms, could lead to flash flooding insome locations.You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible FloodWarnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be preparedto take action should flooding develop.
