Flood Advisory issued June 17 at 5:33AM CDT until June 17 at 10:00AM CDT by NWS North Platte NE* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of north central Nebraska, including thefollowing county, Holt.* WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 533 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. 1 to 3 inches of rain has already fallen andanother inch or more is expected. Minor flooding is ongoingor expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...O'Neill, Atkinson, Stuart, Emmet, Dustin, Midway, Opportunityand Scottville.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
