Flood Watch issued May 20 at 11:10AM MDT until May 21 at 6:00AM MDT by NWS Goodland KS* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.* WHERE...A portion of southwest Nebraska, including the followingcounties, Dundy, Hitchcock and Red Willow.* WHEN...From 6 PM MDT /7 PM CDT/ this evening through late tonight.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occurin poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may beflooded.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Up to 3 inches of rain fell across Hitchcock and Red Willowcounties between late Saturday night and Sunday morning.Soils are saturated and susceptible to flooding. Additionalrainfall amounts Tonight of 1 to 3 inches are possible as acluster of thunderstorms moves through the area.
