Flood Watch issued June 21 at 4:39PM CDT until June 22 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS North Platte NE* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.* WHERE...A portion of north central Nebraska, including thefollowing counties, Boyd, Brown, Holt, Keya Paha and Rock.* WHEN...Through Saturday morning.* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Floodingmay occur in poor drainage and urban areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Locations across portions of north central Nebraska receivedin excess of 5 inches of rain Thursday night. Streamscontinue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not bepassable.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1059 AM CDT, Emergency management reported flooding in thewarned area. Flooding is already occurring.- More rainfall is expected this evening into tonight fromadditional thunderstorms.
