Flood Advisory issued May 25 at 11:48PM CDT until May 26 at 4:45AM CDT by NWS Omaha/Valley NE* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Nebraska, includingthe following counties, in east central Nebraska, Burt, Dodge andWashington. In northeast Nebraska, Cuming.* WHEN...Until 445 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1148 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain hasfallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expectedover the area. This additional rain will result in minorflooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Tekamah, Herman, Uehling, Craig, Winslow and Summit LakeState Recreation Area.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize thedangers of flooding.
