For the Coastal Flood Advisory,up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low-lyingareas near shorelines and tidal waterways (2.7 to 13.2 feetMean Lower Low Water).* WHERE...Eastern Essex MA, Eastern Plymouth MA, Barnstable MA,Dukes MA and Nantucket MA Counties.* WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 8 PM EDT Monday. Forthe Coastal Flood Advisory, until 6 PM EDT this evening.* IMPACTS...Most roads remain passable. Flooding up to one footdeep affects coastal roads on the North Shore from Salem toGloucester and Newburyport. Rough surf will cause flooding onsome coastal roads around the time of high tide due tosplashover. Roads remain passable. Low lying areas and roadsnear Nantucket Harbor, including Easy Street, may experiencepockets of shallow flooding less than one foot deep. Dangerousswimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due todangerous surf conditions.
