For the first Coastal FloodAdvisory, up to one foot of inundation above ground level inlow- lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways (1.4 to13.7 feet Mean Lower Low Water). For the second Coastal FloodAdvisory, up to one foot of inundation above ground levelexpected in low- lying areas near shorelines and tidalwaterways (3.9 to 13.3 feet Mean Lower Low Water). Flooding up to one footdeep affects coastal roads on the North Shore from Salem toGloucester and Newburyport. Rough surf will cause flooding onsome coastal roads around the time of high tide due tosplashover. Roads remain passable. Low lying areas and roadsnear Nantucket Harbor, including Easy Street, may experiencepockets of shallow flooding less than one foot deep. Dangerousswimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due todangerous surf conditions.
