Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 27 at 3:26AM EDT until September 28 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Wakefield VA* WHAT...One to locally two feet of inundation above ground levelin low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.* WHERE...Dorchester and Wicomico Counties.* WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT Saturday.* IMPACTS...Shallow flooding is expected in the most vulnerablelocations near the waterfront and shoreline resulting in a lowthreat of property damage. Expect one to locally two feet ofwater above ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Someroads and low lying property including parking lots, parks andlawns near the waterfront will experience shallow flooding.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
