Coastal Flood Advisory issued June 5 at 5:16AM EDT until June 5 at 9:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level inlow lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County.* WHEN...Until 9 AM EDT this morning, especially around the timeof high tide.* IMPACTS...At 2.8 feet, flooding of some of the parking areanear Dock Street in Annapolis may occur, with watersurrounding the Alex Haley Memorial.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one to one and a half feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy is at4:50 PM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
