Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 22 at 5:01AM EDT until September 24 at 5:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level inlow lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in St. Marys County.* WHEN...Until 5 AM EDT Tuesday, especially around the time ofhigh tide.* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water covers roads on Saint GeorgeIsland, is in yards, and is approaching structures. To theeast, inundation is occurring at multiple marinas off St.Mary's River, Smith Creek, and Jutland Creek.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Coltons Point is at 6:44 AM and7:01 PM. The next high tide at Piney Point is at 6:08 AM and6:25 PM. The next high tide at Point Lookout is at 4:46 AM and5:52 PM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
