Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 28 at 2:51AM EDT until September 28 at 7:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground levelexpected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in Southern Baltimore County and the city ofBaltimore.* WHEN...Until 7 AM EDT this morning, especially around the timeof high tide.* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, flooding is occurring at the end ofThames Street in Baltimore. Water covers the promenade in theInner Harbor in multiple locations. At 3.0 feet, water beginsencroaching upon yards in the Bowleys Quarters area.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Fort McHenry Baltimore is at4:35 AM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
