Flood Advisory issued June 2 at 8:02AM CDT until June 2 at 10:00AM CDT by NWS New Orleans LA* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of southeast Louisiana, including the followingparish, East Baton Rouge.* WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.Water over roadways.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 802 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rainhave fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expectedover the area. This additional rain will result in minorflooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Baton Rouge, Oak Hills Place, Inniswold, Westminster, VillageSt. George, Shenandoah, Old Jefferson and Merrydale.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
