Heat Advisory issued June 17 at 10:16AM EDT until June 21 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH* WHAT...Heat index values up to 101 are expected.* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeastand northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, andwest central Ohio.* WHEN...Until 8 PM Friday.* IMPACTS...The combination of excessive heat due to temperatures inthe 90s and high humidity will increase the threat of heatillnesses.Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned rooms, stay outof the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors, especiallythose that may have underlying health conditions.Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loosefitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morningor evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion andheat stroke.
