Flood Watch issued May 26 at 3:17AM CDT until May 27 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Paducah KY* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.* WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, westKentucky, and southeast Missouri.* WHEN...Through early Monday morning.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Multiple rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms with veryheavy rainfall are expected to traverse the region throughtonight. Flooding will be more likely and potentially moreintense in areas that receive multiple rounds of heavyrainfall, and especially in areas that have received heavyrainfall in the last few days.You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible FloodWarnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be preparedto take action should flooding develop.

Flood Advisory issued May 26 at 12:04PM CDT until May 26 at 4:00PM CDT by NWS Paducah KY* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of western Kentucky, including the followingcounties, Christian, Hopkins, McLean, Muhlenberg and Webster.* WHEN...Until 400 PM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.Water over roadways.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1204 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gaugesindicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding isongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected overthe area.
