Flood Advisory issued September 27 at 2:19PM EDT until September 27 at 4:30PM EDT by NWS Jackson KY* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall continues.* WHERE...A portion of southeast Kentucky, including the followingcounties, Floyd, Knott, Letcher and Pike.* WHEN...Until 430 PM EDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 218 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rainfallhad ended across the area; however, runoff from previousheavy rainfall will continue to cause minor flooding ofcreeks and streams in low lying areas.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Pikeville, Whitesburg, Hindman, Estill, Bath, Jenkins, CoalRun Village, Elkhorn City, Wheelwright, Fleming-Neon, Martin,Pippa Passes, Forest Hills, Wayland, Virgie, Galveston,Beaver, Jonancy, Buckhorn Hollow and Ligon.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
