Flood Advisory issued May 26 at 10:26PM CDT until May 27 at 1:30AM CDT by NWS Paducah KY* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of western Kentucky, including the followingcounties, Calloway, Christian, Todd and Trigg.* WHEN...Until 130 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1026 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. This will cause urban and small streamflooding. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expectedover the area. This additional rain will result in minorflooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Hopkinsville, Murray, Oak Grove, Cadiz, Elkton, FortCampbell, Wranglers Campground, Energy Lake Campground,Woodlands Nature Station, Golden Pond Visitors Center, LandBetween The Lakes Area, Turkey Bay, Clarksville, Guthrie,Pembroke, Crofton, Canton, Rockcastle, Hazel and Trenton.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize thedangers of flooding.
