Localized higheramounts up to 5 inches were observed. Another round of veryheavy rain is expected with severe thunderstorms through thisevening. This likely will lead to additional rainfall amountsof 1 to 3 inches, with localized higher amounts possible.This will lead to a heightened flash flooding concern,especially in those areas that already received flooding thismorning. Paradise is forecast to crest in moderate flood while Calhounis forecast to crest near moderate flood.For the Green River...including Paradise, Calhoun...Minor toModerate flooding is forecast.* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Green River at Calhoun.* WHEN...From late tonight until further notice.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 6:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 19.7 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stagelate tonight and continue rising to a crest of 25.9 feetWednesday morning.- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damageto roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage islikely.This dangerous storm will be near...St. Joseph around 820 PM CDT.Owensboro around 825 PM CDT.Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm includeMoseleyville.This includes Audubon Parkway between Mile Markers 16 and 22.TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowestfloor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows.
