In southeast Kentucky, Bell, Clay,Floyd, Harlan, Knott, Knox, Leslie, Letcher, Perry and Pike.* WHEN...Through Friday evening.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Widespread showers and some embedded thunderstorms willaffect the area into Friday as Tropical System Heleneapproaches and interacts with a nearby stalled frontalboundary. Periods of heavy to, at times, torrential rainfallare expected from this, which may lead to incidents of flashflooding. Isolated mudslides will also be possible duringthis time.You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible FloodWarnings.
