Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 26 at 3:29PM EDT until May 26 at 4:00PM EDT by NWS Jackson KYAt 328 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a lineextending from Hode to Chloe, moving east at 60 mph.HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.SOURCE...Radar indicated.IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.Locations impacted include...Forest Hills, Phelps and Paw Paw.For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of abuilding.Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespreadsignificant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediatelylikely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor ofa building. These storms may cause serious injury and significantproperty damage.Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead toflash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
