Flood Advisory issued May 26 at 1:21AM CDT until May 26 at 2:30AM CDT by NWS Topeka KS* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall continues.* WHERE...A portion of north central Kansas, including the followingcounties, Cloud and Republic.* WHEN...Until 230 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 120 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. This will cause urban and small streamflooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expectedover the area. This additional rain will result in minorflooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Concordia, Jamestown, Cuba, Norway and Agenda.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize thedangers of flooding.
