High Surf Advisory issued December 28 at 3:18PM HST until December 29 at 6:00AM HST by NWS Honolulu HI...HIGH SURF ADVISORY CANCELLED FOR NORTH AND WEST FACING SHORESOF NIIHAU KAUAI OAHU MOLOKAI AND NORTH FACING SHORES OF MAUI......HIGH SURF WARNING DOWNGRADED TO A HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR WESTFACING SHORES OF THE BIG ISLAND....The large northwest swell that peaked Friday will continue todecline through the rest of the weekend. Surf along exposed westfacing shores of the Big Island has lowered to advisory level thisafternoon. Along north and west facing shores of Kauai and Oahuand north facing shores of Maui, surf has declined just belowadvisory levels. Surf is expected to fall even further through thenight.* WHAT...Surf of 7 to 10 feet this evening, lowering to 5 to 7feet by Sunday morning.* WHERE...Kona, Kohala and Big Island South.* WHEN...Until 6 AM HST Sunday.* IMPACTS...Moderate.
