High Surf Advisory issued November 14 at 4:33AM HST until November 16 at 6:00AM HST by NWS Honolulu HI...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR NORTH AND WEST FACING SHORES OF NIIHAUKAUAI OAHU MOLOKAI AND NORTH FACING SHORES OF MAUI UNTIL 6 PM HSTTODAY......HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR EAST FACING SHORES OF KAUAI OAHUMOLOKAI MAUI AND BIG ISLAND UNTIL 6 AM HST SATURDAY....Exposed north and west facing shores will see a large northwestslowly declining today, falling below advisory thresholds bytonight. Strong winds will produce large east wind waves, buildingsurf heights above advisory levels along exposed east facingshores into the weekend.* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 10 feet today, buildingfrom 8 to 12 feet by Friday.* WHERE...East facing shores of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Maui andthe Big Island.* WHEN...Until 6 AM HST Saturday.* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currentswill make swimming dangerous.Heed all advice from ocean safety officials. When in doubt, don'tgo out.

Winds will be strongest over ridges, through passesand near higher terrain.* WHEN...Until 6 AM HST Saturday.* IMPACTS...Winds this strong can tear off shingles, knock down treebranches, blow away tents and awnings and make it difficult tosteer, especially for drivers of high profile vehicles.Watch out for falling tree branches when walking or driving. Makesure tents and awnings are secure or take them down. Be prepared forpower outages.
