In southwest Florida, Coastal CollierCounty, Inland Collier County and Mainland Monroe.* WHEN...Through this evening.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers arepossible.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Rainfall amounts of 8 to 14 inches with isolated amounts upto 20 inches have fallen over portions of South Florida sinceTuesday morning. Additional amounts of 2 to 4 inches ofrainfall are forecast through Friday with locally higheramounts possible. Ponding of water in urban or other areas isoccurring or is imminent.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 138 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. This will cause urban and small streamflooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected overthe area.
