For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of8 to 12 feet.* WHERE...Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida Beaches.* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Warning, until 8 AM EDT Friday.For the High Surf Advisory, until 4 PM EDT Friday. For theHigh Rip Current Risk, through Friday evening.* IMPACTS...Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying propertyincluding homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructurewill be inundated. Some shoreline erosion will occur.Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beacherosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers awayfrom shore into deeper water.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Total water levels of 1 to 3 feet withisolated locations up to 4 feet are possible from HurricaneHelene.Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Tropical Storm Warning issued September 26 at 5:04PM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FL* LOCATIONS AFFECTED- Amelia City- Fernandina Beach- Yulee* WIND- LATEST LOCAL FORECAST: Equivalent Tropical Storm force wind- Peak Wind Forecast: 30-40 mph with gusts to 60 mph- THREAT TO LIFE AND PROPERTY THAT INCLUDES TYPICAL FORECASTUNCERTAINTY IN TRACK, SIZE AND INTENSITY: Potential for wind 58to 73 mph- The wind threat has remained nearly steady from theprevious assessment.- PLAN: Plan for dangerous wind of equivalent strong tropicalstorm force.- PREPARE: Remaining efforts to protect life and propertyshould be completed as soon as possible.
