Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 28 at 2:01PM EDT until September 30 at 2:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level inlow lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in the District of Columbia.* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT Monday, especially around the time ofhigh tide.* IMPACTS...Shoreline inundation is expected along portions ofthe seawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point LoopRoad, and near the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial..* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one to one and a half feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Washington Channel is at 6:12 PMand 6:28 AM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
