Request to limit driving gas and diesel-powered vehicles is now in effect until midnight Thursday night(12 AM Friday, June 14, 2024). Ozone concentrations remain highon Thursday afternoon in the southwestern and western portions ofthe Denver Metro area, including locations in the foothills.Increasing clouds and afternoon storms are expected to keep ozoneconcentrations in the Good to Moderate range on Friday. For areasincluded in this advisory that are not expected to reach theUnhealthy for Sensitive Groups (USG) air quality designation, werequest that activities, such as driving non- ZEV vehicles (i.e.,gas or diesel), be reduced to lessen the impacts on neighboringair quality. Additional air pollution in this region may directlyworsen air quality or contribute to precursors which may alsoadversely affect air quality.
