Request to limit drivinggas and diesel- powered vehicles is now in effect until at least 4PM Wednesday, May 29, 2024. Ozone concentrations are expected toreach the Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups level on Tuesday. Westernand southern portions of the Denver Metro Area, from Arvadasouthward to Chatfield State Park, are likely to experience thehighest Ozone.For areas included in this advisory that are notexpected to exceed the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (USG) airquality designation, we request that activities, such as drivingnon-ZEV vehicles (i.e., gas or diesel), be reduced to lessen theimpacts on neighboring air quality. Additional air pollution inthis region may directly worsen air quality or contribute toprecursors which may also adversely affect air quality.
